Course description
This fully online diploma provides a focused programme of study in the area of software design and development, providing an insight into technical skills and modern industry techniques. Computer programming and design are taught in the diploma, as well as a number of important software engineering methodologies. Optional modules include Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence. (Students completing this programme have the option to transfer to second-year of the M.Sc.SED in NUIG). The course is offered by NUI Galway. As the course is delivered online, it is particularly suitable for students in full-time employment wishing to re-skill or update their IT competencies.
